Summer in Cincinnati 2022

It’s that tricky time of year when we give all we have to finish out the school year, but our minds are also halfway into summer, thinking about all the fun this great city has to offer! Here are a few ideas to get your summer fun started, and as an added bonus, many events are FREE!

Food Fun

Use the Cincinnati Bell Connector to move around the city while sampling some great food on a Streetcar Food Tour!

Enjoy all Summit Park has to offer, especially on June 17 when the Cincinnati Food Truck Association comes to town!

Art & Music

The Clifton Cultural Arts Center celebrates summer with 11 weeks of FREE music at Burnet Woods Bandstand every Wednesday from 7–9 p.m. Each week also features local food vendors and beer available for purchase from HighGrain Brewing Co.

Cincinnati Opera in the Parkoffers a FREE outdoor concert on June 12 at Washington Park.

The Cincinnati Museum of Art offers FREE general admission everyday and parking is FREE. MyCAM Art Hunts are customized digital tours—a perfect way to keep kids of all ages engaged throughout your visit. Pack a lunch and head over toEden Park for beautiful views of the city.

Shakespeare in the Park kicks off with FREE community performances in July.

Get Moving

This is the summer to finally try Goat Yoga!

Washington Park, Summit Park, and Newport on the Levee are all offering FREE outdoor workouts!

Movie Magic

Liberty Center, Washington Park, Deerfield Township, and Newport on the Levee are all showing outdoor movies this summer!

And when the weather isn’t cooperating, check out Free Summer Movies for Kids on Monday and Wednesday mornings at Kenwood and Mariemont Theatres.
